I was born in Xi’an, a historic city located in the very center of mainland China.
After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in 2018, I came to study with Prof. Yusuke Nambu at the Fujita Laboratory, Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University.
I obtained my Master of Science degree in 2021 and my Doctor of Science degree in March 2024, focusing on neutron scattering and magnetometry studies of 2D van der Waals antiferromagnets.
I have been a research assistant in the Graduate Program in Spintronics (GP-Spin) at Tohoku University since 2019.
From September 2022 to March 2023, I visited the University of Edinburgh to perform research with Prof. Christopher Stock, a professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy. Currently, we continue to study the orbital degrees of freedom in van der Waals materials.
I usually spend my vacations fishing, traveling, and playing badminton.
I’m interested in challenging myself and continuously learning new things. Sticking to the same routine or a specific field can become quite boring for me.
I hope to always carry on with research that interests me and achieve insights to better understand the universe, or perhaps I could join other exciting fields and play to my strengths.
